Lingua Amoris is a movie about love.
There is a story of the love between two persons. In eight episodes we tell how these two persons meet, fall in love, reach their own limits, move apart, lose each other, only to find each other again at the end. In each of these episodes we change countries, we play with the gender identity of the characters and let the different languages and contexts be the framework. Each episode is written and produced by a different film team. Only the dramaturgical structure of the story and the nature of the characters are taken as guidelines.
Initiated by Hüller Medienwerkstatt together with ABC Bildungs- und Tagungszentrum and DirectorsCut Film- und Videoproduktion, Lingua Amoris is an audiovisual project that addresses the topic of „love“ from a perspective that tries to explore the different forms of love outside the norm. We see this process as a strategy of empowerment and looking for ways of visibility and representation.
